The Challenge
Dental Green needed a web presence that could be easily updated by non-technical staff, worked well on mobile for patients searching on the go, and drove direct contact via WhatsApp — the dominant messaging channel in Ecuador. Off-the-shelf themes were either bloated with unused features or too generic for a specialized clinic.
The Approach
Built a lightweight, single-page custom WordPress theme with all clinic content — services, specialist bios, testimonials, gallery, and contact info — editable through the native Customizer. The contact form submits directly to WhatsApp instead of email, matching how patients in the region actually communicate. Vanilla JS handles carousels, scroll animations, and a 3D tilt effect on service cards, with no jQuery or framework overhead.
The Result
The clinic has a fast, maintainable site that staff update without developer intervention, and patient inquiries flow directly into WhatsApp conversations.
